Our Story
As the financial industry has evolved, so have we; we are QC Verify, LLC, originally meeting market needs as Quality Mortgage Services, LLC (QMS). This is not the story of a company that has been merged or acquired through industry consolidation, it is the story of a grassroots company that has grown and evolved as an innovative third-party provider that not only understands your needs but meets them where you are.
Our beginnings may seem old school but it laid the foundation for who we are today. Back in 1992 our company founder, Tom Duncan, a HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) retiree and veteran, heeded requests from friends and colleagues and decided to start a small QC firm from his home office. As interest grew his son, Tommy A. Duncan, the current Chief Executive Officer, joined him in a collaborative effort to provide meaningful QC services that incorporated the true needs of the industry and embraced innovative thought. Together they catered to the needs of a handful of like-minded mortgage banking clients, while creating an audit and reporting methodology that helped satisfy industry obstacles during a time that still relied on paper and typewriters to get the job done.

Founded in 1999, the company continued to grow and establish itself as a premier nationwide provider of mortgage quality control and audit services, including the development and launch of its Mortgage Analyst Review Software (MARS.)
In 2014, Claudia Duncan, Tommy's wife, assumed leadership of the company as President of QMS. Under Claudia's dedicated and entrepreneurial leadership, the company continued to thrive, ultimately becoming QC Verify. Today, QC Verify remains committed to delivering comprehensive quality control reporting, exceptional customer service, and a consistent standard of excellence to its clients nationwide.
